Roof Soft Washing Newbridge
Soft washing cleans your roof in Newbridge using low-pressure application of specialist cleaning solutions, killing moss, algae and lichen at the root instead of blasting the surface with a power washer.
High-pressure washing is one of the worst things you can do to a roof. It strips the protective surface from concrete tiles, forces water up under the tile laps and into the attic, and can loosen tiles altogether. Soft washing does the opposite, the solution is applied gently and the chemistry does the work.
The results develop over the weeks that follow as the treated growth dies off and weathers away naturally with the Irish rain, leaving the roof progressively cleaner without any damage to the tiles.
Our soft washing service includes:
- Low-pressure application of professional-grade cleaning solutions across the whole roof
- Treatment of moss, black algae staining and lichen on tiled and slate roofs
- Protection of plants, gutters and downpipes while the solution is applied and rinsed
- Safe working from access equipment, with no need to walk across fragile slopes
- Advice on how the clean will develop and when a follow-up treatment is worthwhile
Soft washing is ideal for slate roofs and older tiles where scraping or any pressure at all would risk damage.
Along with soft washing in Newbridge, we offer full , moss and algae treatments and complete roof restoration as well.
